Our Ormskirk Vikings team, which plays on a Wed afternoon in the over 55’s league, is looking for one or two extra players.

Please either contact the Club Secretary or Phil Birchall, the team captain, on 07745 372904, if you either fancy becoming a Viking or would just like more information.

The OBC Vets team who play in the Bootle Vets League (over 55’s) on a Thursday afternoon need additional players for the coming season. Anyone interested please speak to a Committee Member, even if you think you are only able to play on an occasional basis.

Both of the above are now working.

A few of our teams need some additional players for the forthcoming season, specifically Ormskirk Ospreys who play in the Maghull League on a Monday night and the Ormskirk Castle teams who play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights in various leagues.

If you are a new member and would like to be considered for a team the Ospreys are an ideal starting point and any existing team players who would like to play in an additional team would be most welcome.

Please speak to a member of the committee or e-mail ormskirkbowlingclub2013@gmail.com if you would be interested and we can put you in touch with the most suitable team. Also if any other teams feel that their numbers need a boost please contact us in the same manner.

Please note that we have had a bad water leak in the pavilion. The water heater has been switched off and we would ask that no one uses that or the taps until we have made it safe. We will let you know when normal service is resumed.

Happy New Year to all our members. We hope you have had an enjoyable Festive Season. The above event will take place at Ormskirk Cricket Club (downstairs) and any proposals must be forwarded to the committee for consideration by 31st January.
