Well done to our junior bowlers who represented our Club in the Ormskirk West Lancs Junior and Youth Teams today. They played at two greens at Thornhill, near Dewsbury in deepest, darkest (and rather cold and drizzly) Yorkshire. Natasha Hauley played for the Youth team despite being under the 17-20 age limit. Rylan Irwin, Jack Denning and Ryan Maughan played for the Junior Team. Matches took place against Heavy Woollen (Dewsbury) and Rochdale with the Juniors winning both their matches against Rochdale and the Youth managed one win against Rochdale. Rylan did particularly well to win his first ever match on his debut at only the tender age of 10, and he had only played one competitive singles game before today.
