Today saw a great win for our Ormskirk Vikings junior team against the newcomers to the league, the Ainsdale Avengers. Superb performances from Jazmin, Chris and James (who won 21-20 in a tense match) meant we were 3-1 up after the singles.

The best was yet to come in the pairs. Chris paired up with young Matthew on his debut and really helped him throughout the game, and they came away with a 21-10 win. His brother Daniel was also playing his first game and, playing with Lily Copeland, they came away with a fine 21-11 win to take the match for the Vikings.
