The winter ladder reached its conclusion today. The semi final between Don Morris and Ian Gill was a tense affair. Ian went 16-7 up but Don took the block and hardly looked back with a series of devastating leads, and he took the game 21-17.

On to the final and it was fitting that it was between the two who finished 1 and 2 at the top of the ladder. It was Steve James who started well and this time Don was unable to close the gap. Steve ran out to win 21-12 and take his first ever bowls trophy.
