Our Ormskirk team maintained their grip on the top of the Ormskirk Premier League tonight, with a fine 11-1 win against Our Lady’s from Formby, who did not travel well onto our carpet. It was so nearly a clean sweep until the last match where ‘The Horse’ just fell at the last fence in a narrow defeat to John Stewart under the lights.

The Ormskirk Castle had the opposite result at the Skem Park fortress of the Rebels, who kept an ominous 4 points behind the league leaders. Chris Butler was the only winner.

It was great to see both greens in use, with Hurlston Hall using the grass green as a temporary home whilst sorting out the problems with their own green.
