We are a friendly club which welcomes beginners and we hold regular taster sessions and open days and have had many new bowlers join us over the last year or so. Bowls is a great social sport that everyone can play and it is brilliant if you want to meet new people and get some gentle exercise in the fresh air.

Ormskirk Bowling Club 
The invitation might not reach people who despite watching the TV bowls might not be inspired sufficiently to search for our website. Would it be a good idea to attempt encouragement of these people by publishing the invitation in the Champion and other local media,and also encourage them to try playing at any club if nearer to them, ,since there is general concern at the demise of the game?
