The Ormskirk 10k run is being hosted at OCC today. Please note that there will be road closures in place between 9:30am and 12:30pm and it will not be possible to access the site by car between 8.30am and 1.30pm. During these times avoid parking on Altys Lane or very close to the site.

Congratulations to our Ormskirk Owls team won the Maghull League ‘Tony Toal’ Knockout Cup, beating Saracens in the final held at Aughton Institute.

The grass green will actually close after the cup final on Monday evening, so it remains open for practice until then.

Dennis Mussell and Dave Roper also reached the latter stages of the Bleasdale Cup last night. It would be great to see members attend the Finals Night next Wednesday evening at Aughton Institute (from 6.30pm) to cheer on their teammates and to recognise the achievement of our teams and individuals at the Presentation event that will follow the Final. Trophies will be presented by the League President Marcus Bleasdale.

The grass green has now been closed until the spring to allow renovation work to take place. Top dressing and seeding will take place in the first week of October.
