Thanks to Peter Bailey who has added a bit of colour to the back of our pavilion.

As discussed at the AGM we are holding the above event as an opportunity to get together before the start of the season. There will be an opportunity for those members who do not wish to pay their annual subscriptions online (which is the preferred option) to pay by cash or cheque.

We will be having a game of Bingo with prizes for those who wish to take part.

Please note that the committee will be meeting from 7pm-8pm so all officials and captains of all teams are invited to attend this and an agenda will be sent out to you all today.

We look forward to seeing many of you on the night.

Reminder that there are now only 3 weeks left to play any remaining Winter Pairs League Games.

Both the Weekend and the Weekday Divisions will close at midnight 31MAR2022.

A much deserved award at the Club’s AGM last night was the ‘Outstanding Contribution’ Award, which went to Marg Copeland. A hefty round of applause greeted this award, as Marg puts so much effort into playing in many of our teams, keeping us stocked with tea/coffee/milk, tidying up the clubhouse, helping out with our events and, most importantly, supplying sweeties to the teams she plays in!

Congratulations to some of our Club Cup Winners and runners up who were able to receive their trophies at the Club’s AGM last night.

Well done to our table topping teams from 2021, who are pictured parading their trophies at the Club’s AGM and Presentation Night.

Ormskirk Bowling Club are hosting a Winter Pairs Knockout Competition with the heats commencing this Tue 8th February 2022, 11am start.

Following a successful bid for funding the Club is in a position to buy new shirts for all its teams competing in the leagues. Members should have received a direct email, but if you are going to be a team member in the coming year in any of our league teams please let us know your shirt size now by completing the form at Shirt Order Form. Due to us needing to meet the funding requirements this needs to be done by the close of play Sunday or we might not order the right size for you. The shirts will be free for our team members.

These will be slightly more modern shirts than the current polo shirts. Hoodies can still be purchased from Premier Sports and we are looking into getting a baseball cap designed for those that might want them.
