AGM 2015 a big success

The AGM held in the Cricket Club pavilion was a big success with 30 people turning up, 19 of which hadn’t yet even joined the Club yet.  On the night the Club increased its membership by a further 16 people and the total membership now stand at 48 – not bad considering we have nothing to play on yet.  A copy of the Minutes are attached – AGM Minutes Feb 2015

In the News

Great to see the articles on the front page of the Champion and inside the Advertiser. Just a shame the Champion made an error in its article, as we don’t consist mainly of bowlers from the former Comrades Club, although any former bowlers from the Comrades are more than welcome to join.

What has been happening?

Some time has passed since my last post, but there has been some progress. Mallinsons have done some initial work, but the Council has now employed PSD Agronomy to project manage the development of the greens. I hope to have a draft project plan very soon and hopefully progress will now speed up.

Progress Update

Discussions have been held with Mallinsons and the Council and plans continue to be drawn up.  We have also had a very positive meeting with the Cricket Club Committee.  Things are moving on slowly but surely!
